Deep listening, attuned to you, in service of change
I believe deeply in the wisdom held within emotion: wisdom about needs and hopes, life-serving boundaries, inner and collective change. I entered the field of counseling because this wisdom is a potential that requires specific nurturing in order to be known. I listen deeply, challenge gently, and support you in relating to yourself and others from a place of agency and understanding. My in-depth specializations in Somatic Attachment Therapy and Mindfulness-based Self Compassion - alongside training in trauma, grief, family therapy, expressive arts, and eco psychology - aid us in this work. Most importantly, our collaborative therapeutic relationship creates an environment from which long-term healing can emerge.
As an LPC Associate working toward licensure, my clinical supervisor is Lydia Byhardt Bollinger, LCSW.
